This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms and conditions applicable to order cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds for purchases made from Reformist (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our official website.
This Policy must be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and other applicable policies published on the Website.
By placing an order on our Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.
Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only before they are processed and dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order has been confirmed, packed, or shipped, it cannot be cancelled and shall be governed strictly by this Policy and applicable law.
Requests for change in delivery address, contact details, or order modification can be considered only within twelve (12) hours of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier, and are subject to feasibility and our internal approval.
Cash on Delivery (“COD”) orders may be cancelled only at the time of order confirmation. Unconfirmed COD orders may be cancelled automatically by us.
All cancellation or modification requests must be sent in writing to support@bereformist.com from your registered email address, clearly mentioning the Order ID.
We reserve the right to refuse any cancellation or modification request once processing has begun or where such request is not permissible under this Policy.
Returns & Replacements
Due to the personal, cosmetic, and hygienic nature of our products, returns or replacements are accepted only in the following limited cases:
- Wrong product delivered,
- Product damaged during transit,
- Expired product received, or
- Package received empty or with missing items.
No return, replacement, or refund shall be accepted for any reason other than the cases listed above.
To raise a valid request, you must send an email to support@bereformist.com from your registered email address, clearly mentioning your Order ID, along with the following mandatory proof:
- Clear photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the product,
- A continuous, unedited unboxing video clearly showing the package opening and the product condition (mandatory for damaged, leaked, missing, or empty packages), and
- A brief written description of the issue.
Requests submitted without complete proof, incomplete documentation, edited videos, or unclear images may be rejected at our sole discretion.
We do not accept returns, replacements, or refunds for:
- Change of mind,
- Personal preference,
- Dissatisfaction after use,
- Products that have been opened, used, tested, partially consumed, or tampered with, or
- Products returned without original packaging, seals, labels, invoice, or accessories.
All return and replacement requests are subject to verification and approval by our quality control team. Our decision regarding the condition of the product and eligibility for return or replacement shall be final and binding, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
If a request is approved, a reverse pickup may be arranged at our discretion. Returned products must be in their original, unused, sealed condition, along with the original invoice and all accessories. We reserve the right to reject any return or replacement request that does not strictly comply with this Policy.
Eligibility Verification & Inspection
All return, replacement, or refund requests are subject to verification and inspection by Reformist. You acknowledge and agree that approval of any return, replacement, or refund is not automatic and is granted only after:
- The returned product is physically received by us, and
- The product is inspected by our quality control team for condition, authenticity, completeness, and compliance with this Policy.
We reserve the right to reject any request where:
- The product is found to be used, altered, tampered with, damaged after delivery, or not in its original condition,
- The original packaging, seals, labels, invoice, or accessories are missing,
- The claim is unsupported by adequate proof or is found to be false or misleading.
Our decision regarding the condition of the product and eligibility for return, replacement, or refund shall be final and binding, subject to applicable consumer protection laws. No replacement or refund shall be processed until the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved by us.
Refunds
Refunds or replacements shall be initiated only after the returned product is received at our warehouse and has successfully passed inspection and quality verification by our team.
If a refund is approved:
- For prepaid orders, the refund shall be processed to the original mode of payment within three (3) to seven (7) business days after approval, subject to banking and payment gateway timelines.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds shall be processed only through bank transfer or any other electronic mode specified by us, after you provide accurate and complete bank account details.
You acknowledge and agree that processing time for refunds may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway, and Reformist shall not be responsible for any delay caused by banks, payment processors, or third-party systems.
We reserve the right to:
- Withhold, delay, or reject any refund if the returned product fails inspection,
- Adjust or deduct applicable shipping charges, reverse pickup charges, handling fees, or other permissible charges from the refund amount, where permitted under applicable law.
No interest, compensation, or damages shall be payable by Reformist for any delay in processing refunds within the stated timelines.
No Refund for Promotional & Free Items
Products provided as free gifts, complimentary items, samples, trial packs, or promotional items as part of any offer, scheme, bundle, or marketing campaign shall not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund under any circumstances, except where such item is received in a damaged or incorrect condition.
Free gifts and promotional items:
- Have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash,
- Are non-transferable and cannot be substituted with any other product,
- Are provided strictly on an “as is” basis, subject to availability.
In case of return or refund of the main product:
- If a free gift or promotional item is not returned in unused and original condition, its notional value may be deducted from the refund amount,
- If the return causes the order to fall below the minimum value required for the offer, the promotional benefit shall be deemed withdrawn and its value may be deducted from the refund.
Reformist reserves the right to withdraw, modify, or discontinue any promotional item or free gift at any time without prior notice. Nothing in this clause shall affect your mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Refund Mode Limitation
All refunds approved under this Policy shall be processed only through the original mode of payment used at the time of placing the order, unless otherwise required under applicable law.
- For prepaid orders, refunds shall be issued only to the same bank account, card, UPI ID, or payment instrument used for the original transaction.
- For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds shall be issued only through bank transfer or any other electronic mode specified by us, after you provide accurate and complete bank account details in the format required by us.
We shall not process refunds:
- In cash,
- Through third-party wallets not used for the original payment,
- To a different bank account, card, or person than the original payer, or
- Through any mode not supported by our payment systems.
You acknowledge and agree that refund processing timelines are subject to banking and payment gateway procedures, and we shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or incorrect bank details provided by you. Any failure or delay in crediting the refund due to incorrect, incomplete, or invalid bank details shall not create any liability on Reformist. Nothing in this clause shall affect your mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Final Authority & Decision Clause
All decisions relating to the eligibility, approval, rejection, replacement, refund amount, mode of refund, deductions, and timelines under this Policy shall be taken solely by Reformist in accordance with this Policy, applicable law, and our internal verification and quality control processes.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Our determination of product condition, eligibility for return or refund, and the amount payable, if any, shall be final and binding,
- Our inspection and verification reports shall be conclusive for all purposes, and
- No further internal claim, dispute, or objection shall be entertained once a final decision has been communicated to you, except where required under mandatory consumer protection laws.
We reserve the right to reject any request, in whole or in part, if:
- The product does not meet return eligibility criteria,
- The claim is unsupported by sufficient proof,
- There is evidence of misuse, tampering, or customer-caused damage, or
- The request violates this Policy or applicable law.
Nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit any statutory rights available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable laws.
Important
Products purchased during promotional offers, discount sales, clearance sales, or special campaigns are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of:
- Wrong product delivered, or
- Product damaged in transit, or
- Expired product received.
Due to the personal and hygienic nature of cosmetic and personal care products, no return or refund shall be accepted for change of mind, dissatisfaction after use, or personal preference, and no return shall be accepted once the product seal is opened or the product is used.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that Reformist does not guarantee suitability of any product for your specific skin type, condition, or health profile. Individual allergic reactions, sensitivity, irritation, or adverse responses may occur depending on skin type, health condition, or misuse.
A patch test is strongly recommended before regular use of any product. Reformist shall not be responsible or liable for any allergic reaction, irritation, sensitivity, or adverse effect arising from failure to conduct a patch test, use contrary to instructions or warnings, or use without appropriate medical or dermatological advice.
In case of any irritation, redness, itching, burning, or discomfort, you must immediately discontinue use and consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional.
